I can confirm that unlocking my Durabrand Dur 1700 worked using code 251535. Bought the unit in October at a Walmart in Kansas.

Hello. I'd like to see if the "251535" code for the Durabrand DUR-1700 portable DVD player works.
How do I get into the setup screen in order to enter the code "251535"? I did a search on the "Initial IDM-1731" in order to read how to do it and did not find anything.

I cannot get my DUR-1700 to play on other TV's. I know to change the switch from "tft" to "video out" but it just scrolls rapidly and in black and white on a TV. Can anyone help? Otherwhise, I love this little player. |

Durabrand Dvd-2005
Turn the DVD on
Open the lid
Press 'Stop' on the remote
Then 734466
You will now be in the setup menu.
Use the right arrow to open the Region Options and select '0' for region free. |
