Has anyone done a comparison between these 2 players?

I asked this question from a user from Club Rotel and he recommended the C542 if I wanted a more musical player.

I had the C542 but I sold it to finance my other upgrades. I plan to buy another CD player before Christmas and these are the 2 on my shortlist. I prefer a player with HDCD decoding.

For those who compared the 2, why would you choose one over the other? Thanks so much for your opinions.

I listened to both and I decided to go with the C542 again.
