I'm considering the denon 3805 receiver and not sure of what type of speakers would match the best. I am looking for on the wall surround speakers (speakers need to be off the floor). My budget is less than 1,500. |

Find the warmest speakers you can as the Denon's can sound bright and thin. Paradigm and PSB are the best I can think of. I used to have a Denon 3803 and it was bright beyond belief. |

I have not heard either one as both are new models and I have not be able to get out of town to the stores that may carry them. They are both a bit too low in their model lines for the stores I deal with to carry and I am more familiar with the mid line models like the 3803,3805 and 2400. In that line I like the Yamaha better. The 2400 is not nearly as bright as the 3803. |
