I purchased an AIWA NET-MD. Got SonicStage 2 with it.No matter what I do, SonicStage gives an error on reading the goddamn CD. Falls over. Tried re-installing many times. No good. In desperation, I got Realplayer (V10 Free), and that doesn't recognise my MD! Got different device drivers (tried the Realplayer Sony device driver) no good. Hit transfer and after 50% transferred-falls over. Is this as good as it gets? Any ideas? |

Problem solved! The Hotfix for Windows XP has a negative impact on SonicStage. It's patch KB840987 to be exact. Go into Add/Remove programs and remove this patch and all was fine for me. Note Windows XP will try to download this everytime again so you will have keep removing it until a permanent fix is found. I saw this in some other post. Thanks. |
