I currently have the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's. I would really like to have better sound. I have decided to get out of the multimedia system ruts and into a traditional home audio solution.

I need an amp that will do 5.1 sound or better for less than 250 bucks...


Until money becomes more availiable. I will only have 2 speakers (2.0), then upgrade to 2.1 with a sub, and finally 5.1 someday. ;)
This plan sounds ok, right?

I have heard pretty good reviews about an Onkyo reciever.



What reciever is best for me?
