Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum. I am in the process of buying a new 7.1 receiver and am looking for one with an HDMI or DVI input/output capability. Which 7.1 receiver brands/models have that?

For speakers I have 7.1 Snell all the way around including sub. I have a JVC LCoS FPTV. TiVO. SACD/DVD player. Dedicated media room (my wife was understanding I guess). Basically I am looking for a new receiver at this point.

Any input is welcome.

Marantz SR8500 looks like the best option if you're not willing to pay 6 grand for the Denon 5805.
