Thanks for the quick response to my first question...My Carver C5 preamp has a remote controll. It appears to be able to controll a tuner and a cd player. Would i be right to assume that it can do this if the tuner and cd player are Carver components? Also, there is a small 1/8 jack located at the rear of the preamp that says external remote sensor..What is that for...Regards to all......Tom
