OK. This question is not meant to start a war, but feel free to put your helmets on... Let's say I have a universal player and want to purchase a copy of Diana Krall's "The Look of Love". Which version do I buy and why? The DVD-A or SACD? |

Either format would be fine in my view. I'd take Ms Krall (Mrs Costello) in any package. For listening purposes of course.

I guess it just matters as far as which is available. I saw both versions at Best Buy yesterday. I just thought the DVD-A version would have a few more features... |

I have the SACD version, it's good. Sound is very sweet. Haven't listened to DVD-A version. Here's a link to a format comparision, where this particular DK album was used: http://users.bigpond.net.au/christie/articles.html Cheers AL |

John- I'm hoping you're kidding. My wallet would be really hurtin' if I had to buy two versions of each title! Besides, I don't have a SACD/ DVD-A player yet. The Denon 2910 I want hasn't hit the shelf yet here in NJ. |

Robert, "Let's say I have a universal player" "Besides, I don't have a SACD/ DVD-A player yet." Well, then, buy the disc you can play. I was hoping you could tell us which is better! |
