Hi All
I am installing an in wall ceiling home theater system. The Recommendation from the Audio retailer follows.
Yamaha RXV2400 THX Select
Speakers
Boston Accustics VIR 580 585 565
Velodyne 3750R 10" subwolf
Television Pioneer Pro920HD

Am I on the right track. Really do not want any speakers on the floor.

Thanks
Mark

I would not pair a Yamaha with Boston Acoustics speakers. Too thin and bright for my ears. I used to have a BA system and returned it in 3 days. I also think you should wait for the new Yamaha 2500 to come out as it has a pure direct feature not found on the 2400. This should let you listen to 2 channel music with the sub active. As to speakers for the Yamaha check out the in wall models from Paradigm. Much better match than BA. Good luck.
