I bought a generic Y rca adapter(it dosen't have red and white just one color rca's)so I can hook up a powered sub to my mini system. The FS-5000 has one rca for sub out and my sub has two rca's one red and one white. I connected a pair of rca cables to the Y connector then attached it to my FS-5000 and I get no sound out of my sub. I know it works cause I've been using the speaker connections with success. I just want to reduce the amount of cables hence the Y connector.

Any recs? I lost the manual and haven't been able to find another.
