A dude is selling these but hasn't set a price yet. They are @ 5 years old, never pushed hard, with a slight ding in the left front bottom corner of one speaker. This happened when he moved from an apartment to a house. They sound great! What would be the MOST I should pay for them? What would be your reference? Is there an online guide for used stereo equipment with ratings (fair, good, excellent, etc.)? Would $500.00 be too much? $400.00? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I think they ran around $650.00 new. Offer $400.00 and see what happens. |

I would start at $350. They are 5 years old and damaged. I would not pay over $400 in any case. |

Just curious, what price if they were still in perfect condition (in case I find another pair). |

If really their retail price when new is $650.00, I personnally wouldn't pay more than $300.00 for a 5 yr old pair, great condition. A gentlemen deal at this price I guess. My opinion. |

Spend no more than $400.00-a great buy at this price. I bought a pair with a corner ding and saved a bunch of money a few years back. Guy bought it as a damaged floor sample. Still sounded great! |
