I have a DB Dynamics Quasar Series 2 sub woofer. (Australia, American equivilent is a AAD I think)160 watts, 10 inch. Sounds supurb, trouble is that the auto on/off switch seems to be not sensitive enough. I have a Pioneer vsx d810s rcv. and is connected via low level inputs. I have to have the volume at around 40 % before the sub will kick in. And if I'm watching movies at a moderate level it will switch off. What can I do? Thanks for any sugestions.

Set your front main speakers to small if you have not already tried this.
